HVAC design from a zero-carbon perspective—Taking an airport terminal building as an example
Cai Jing, Zhou Rui, Zhou Hongyi
In line with the zero-carbon design plan of the project, this paper studies and analyses the key points of zero-carbon HVAC design, including the following aspects: establishing a high performance chilled-water plant analysis model, constructing an end-terminal heat exchange model after increasing the water supply temperature using the XGBoost algorithm, adopting distributed air conditioning terminals, and analysing the air distribution and energy efficiency using the CFD method. The analysis results show that after increasing the air conditioning water supply temperature, the annual energy efficiency ratio of the chilled-water plant system meets the first-level energy efficiency requirements. The methods employed in this project can provide references for the HVAC design of other zero-carbon projects.
